In 2007, in the form of the exhibition group, CHIC was launched by the Japanese Trade Promotion Agency (JETRO) that year, and the Japanese Fashion Show (JFF) in 2007CHIC Beijing was deeply impressed.

In the past two years, the agency has also tried to hold a Japanese fashion show in Shanghai.

In 2006, the China Clothing Association sent a warm invitation to the Japanese clothing association. Therefore, on the CHIC2007, people saw the charm of the Japanese pavilion.


The theme of the exhibition was "the colorful city of Tokyo".

The organizers try to use various ways, voiced and silent language, to let us see different personalities, different lifestyles and modes of thinking interlace, thus presenting a shining metropolis, Tokyo.


The Japanese pavilion that first participated in CHIC attracted great attention from the media in 2007. It also gained a lot of harvest: 2897 items were discussed, 42 were traded and intentional, 369 were applied for registration, and 8301 were visiting.


 

2008: show Japanese charm in all directions.


In order to gain better communication results by the time of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and the new CHIC site, the Japan trade promotion organization will participate in the sixteenth China International Clothing and Fashion Fair on the theme of "Japanese fashion show in Beijing CHIC2008".


The same as in 2007, there were 40 enterprises exhibiting in Japan in 2008 (including 36 clothing companies, 1 Chinese business agents, 3 garment media), with 87 booths, 12 more than in 2007.


In order to create the overall atmosphere of the Japanese fashion show, the Japanese museum also used the works of Takahashi Kei, an image writer active in the world stage to create films, TV advertisements and new songs.

In the venue, with the theme of "kaleidoscope of cities", with the breath of the times and the changing image of Tokyo as the core image, it reflects the ever-changing and charming metropolis charm. Moreover, the introduction of high technology into the venue has created an environmental space with fiber and image matching at the entrance.


  

2009: the number of exhibitors in the post crisis era is decreasing.


After exploring the market and the first stage of China's business preparations, the group's participation in CHIC basically solved the problems that Japanese clothing companies would have to enter the Chinese market, and laid the foundation for entering the Chinese market, and accumulated experience through some successful examples.

In 2009, under the influence of the international financial crisis, the number of Japanese exhibitors who participated in CHIC declined.

According to the purpose of exhibitors, the organizers divide the enterprises into category A and B class, and set up the venue respectively, in order to achieve better business results.


A class of enterprises are arranged in the B2B trade negotiation area, a total of 14; B enterprises are arranged in the brand promotion exhibition area, a total of 4; and there are 3 news media.


Although the number of Japanese fashion boutiques in 2009 has decreased, it still brings together the best fashion brands in Japan.

At that time, the design concept of the exhibition group was "FashionatePeople" (fascinated by people). From the booth arrangement to the grade of exhibitors and brands, it gave people a sense of visual impact, and the "Yi Du Jin" and "Nwag" groups were on the same stage.


  

2011: media organizations to participate in the exhibition


With the coming of the new exhibition, Japan's Research Institute of textile industry has organized its clothing brand to take part in CHIC again.

At the same time, a group of women's clothing brands from Japan, including Honeys, OLIVEdesOLIVE and so on, independently advance into the women's clothing area, with their proud market reputation, and compete with many women's brand brands in the country, so that the women's wear exhibition area has a vibrant color.
