China'S Textile And Garment Export Market Economic Recovery

The latest authoritative statistics show that in April of this year, China

Textile and clothing export

The US and European markets showed steady growth, and the Japanese market was slightly warmer.

In the context of the overall growth of China's main export markets for textiles and clothing, the economic recovery base of developed economies such as Europe and the United States is still not very stable, and the prospect of external demand remains to be seen.

Trade protection

The sponsors are spreading from developed countries to developing countries.

Reporters today learned from the Statistics Center of China Textile Industry Association that the export volume of China's textile and clothing reached 70 billion 255 million US dollars in April this year, representing an increase of 27% over the same period last year, and the growth rate increased by 11.29 percentage points over the same period last year.

During the period, China's exports of textiles and clothing to the United States increased by 17% over the same period last year, accounting for 14% of the total textile exports of the country. The export volume of China's textile and clothing exports to Japan increased by 24% over the same period last year, accounting for 12% of the total exports of the country, and China's textile and clothing exports to the EU market grew by 26% over the same period last year, accounting for 20% of the total exports of the country.

China Textile Industry Association Statistics Center stressed that, despite this, at present, Europe, the United States and other developed economies.

Economic recovery

The foundation remains unstable, and the outlook for external demand remains to be seen.

At the same time, in recent years, the continuous increase of labor costs and the rise of cotton prices in the industrial chain are gradually carrying out, which has a great impact on the profits of Chinese textile enterprises, so that "orders are concentrated to large enterprises", and advantageous resources accelerate to large enterprises.

In addition, information obtained from the Spring Festival fair concluded that some foreign businesses began to reduce their purchases in China due to the increase in domestic export prices, and some low-end goods were purchased more from Southeast Asia.

But with the advantages of China's domestic textile industry chain and the rigid demand of Europe and the United States, foreign countries still rely heavily on China's textile and garment products. It is expected that China's textile and garment exports will continue to maintain steady growth in 2011.

Many industry experts also cautioned that the current market outlook for China's textile and clothing exports is not clear, and the foundation for sustained growth is not stable.

One important reason is that the sponsors of trade protection have spread from developed countries to developing countries.
