The four day 2011 national vocational college skills competition ended in Tianjin last week. The competition came out with good news at secondary vocational schools.

In the three-dimensional modeling competition, Shanghai Qun Yi vocational and technical school won two gold medals and one silver medal.

It is especially valuable that Zhang Qiao, who won the silver medal, is a Dujiangyan girl studying in Shanghai.

This is also the first time that students in Sichuan have won medals in the national competition of the project.

In September 2008, Shanghai Qun Yi vocational school recruited 62 students to Sichuan to study in the earthquake stricken area.

Chen Jinguo, headmaster of Qun Yi vocational school, said: "fashion design is the strength of our school. There are a group of students who can attack the gold medal. But we have given the opportunity to the children in Dujiangyan this time. It is also a parade for them to study in the school for three years."

Jiang Liwen, a tutor, is watching every step of Zhang Qiao's progress.

She said that in these months' training, Zhang Qiao entered the classroom at 7 in the morning, and did not leave until 11 o'clock in the evening.

On the same day, the costume design (solid modeling) competition ended from 8 in the morning to 7 in the evening.

The 96 competitors experienced four tests: hand painting, clothing beating, computer painting and three-dimensional modeling.

After winning the silver medal, Zhang Qiao first reported his happiness to his parents far away from home.

And there is another gratifying thing: a large state in Shanghai.
