It is worth noting that in September, the growth rate of China's textile and clothing exports in China fell below 20% for the first time, and the growth rate slowed down significantly compared with the previous stage.
Compared with the increase in August, its exports to the EU decreased by 20%, the US decreased by 8.7%, Japan dropped by 6.4%, and ASEAN decreased by 9%.

It was learned that, excluding the Spring Festival factor, the monthly export of Chinese textiles and clothing remained stable in the first half of August this year, while in September it showed a downward trend of growth rate.
During that month, the growth rate of textile exports dropped to 17%, and garment export growth dropped to 14%.
This signal indicates that the growth trend of Chinese textile and clothing will have an inflection point.
Experts from the China Textile Industry Association pointed out that due to the excessive consumption of the financial crisis in 2008, the operation space of the major economies in stimulating economic growth and increasing employment opportunities through the new monetary and fiscal policies has been significantly reduced.
At present, the benchmark interest rates of major developed economies such as the US, Europe, Japan and other countries remain at a low historical level, with a small decrease and precautions against inflation.
At the same time, the level of fiscal deficits is worrying.
Therefore, as a major demand country of China's textile and apparel products, the developed economies will have a very strong probability of weakening the economy and maintaining a high unemployment rate in the coming year.
In view of the high speed growth of short-term internal and external demand, and even the year-on-year decline, it is foreseeable that the export situation of Chinese textile and clothing is not optimistic.
