But yesterday, reporters learned from the Guangzhou Institute of quality supervision, inspection and research that although the standards were enforced, the enthusiasm of the enterprises in the inspection was not high. The market found that 60% enterprises did not explicitly implement the standard last year.

Guangdong province footwear product quality supervision and inspection station has undertaken most of the limit detection of harmful substances in leather and fur in the province, but according to the information of the station, since the implementation of the standard, the station has only received more than 3000 sample samples commissioned by the parties.

Of the more than 3000 samples, more than 500 did not qualifying formaldehyde, accounting for 1/6.

Formaldehyde is carcinogenic and has been well known. The WHO has identified formaldehyde as a carcinogenic and malformed substance.
