Managing Narcissistic Employees Needs Two Solutions.

There seems to be a group of narcissistic employees in every organization. Their confidence in their abilities is full enough. High spirits and high spirits are their consistent behaviors.

So what kind of impact does this illusion have on business decisions? Gang Carol believes that enterprises are always looking for valuable proposals, and thus win the opportunity in competition. But if narcissistic employees are better at selling themselves, their abilities will always appear to be too high, and the suggestions that lead to their actual level of difference are more adopted, enterprises will lose the chance to get better ideas.

Faced with this obstacle, gang Carol believes that the best way is to set a more objective evaluation standard based on written expression.

At the same time, he suggested that business managers, though difficult to resist irrational influences, had better think about whether they were more implicit and less confident in expressing their opinions before criticizing or rejecting certain ideas.

Self abased employees also need to change their expression and thinking inertia to demonstrate the true level of ability with more sufficient bottom.

What role should organizations play in narcissistic employees in order to stimulate their positive effects? They divide 292 experimental subjects into four groups, asking them to provide an organization around a topic.

Solution

The experimental results showed that when there were no narcissistic subjects in the four groups, team discussions were conducted in accordance with rules and regulations, lacking creative highlights and topic leaders; but when the four were all narcissistic, the discussions were frequent because of various creativity, but members could hardly convince each other and stagnate.

When the number of narcissistic members accounted for half of the total, the team discussion was the most smooth, the topic leader and the followers were in their respective positions, and the number of effective recommendations was the most.

When meeting narcissistic employees in an organization, business managers may be able to stimulate team creativity with their advantages, and effectively control the negative effects of their high ability. It will be the best way for narcissistic employees to release their intelligence.
