UA Launches Armourbox Custom Box

Under Armour will ask the subscriber to answer some simple questions about lifestyle and activity needs, including style preferences, fitness goals, favorite sports, sex and size.
The brand stylist team selects 4~6 products according to the personal information and preferences provided by the subscribers.
The stylist team will choose products from a variety of Under Armour series, including running, golf, basketball and lifestyle costumes, accessories and footwear.
In addition to the information provided by subscribers, the data collected by Under Armour's Connected Fitness online fitness platform will also be referred to.
For example, if a subscriber records a certain mileage of running activities every week on Connected Fitness, the products delivered to Under Armour are likely to be purchased by other consumers who have similar mileage.

The registration of ArmourBox is completely free. Consumers will receive a package of products customized by Under Armour 10 days after they submit the subscription application. They can choose to distribute them once per 30, 60 or 90 days. Distribution and return will also be completely free. If consumers retain all the goods, they will enjoy 20% discount.
Under Armour, North American president Jason LaRose, said the company entered the monthly subscription service market in order to better serve consumers rather than win the market share of Stitch Fix or similar companies.
He said: "we have more than 215 million members of our Connected Fitness platform. People who use My Fitness Pal, Map My Run and other Under Armour fitness related applications are willing to share information about sports, diet and other life details. Therefore, ArmourBox will be a good start. We have more potential business to explore."
LaRose added: "we will ask the subscribers to provide feedback so that we can deliver products that are more in line with their preferences. I hope this experience will not disappoint them."
He said the service had been tested internally, and Under Armour was satisfied with the current results.
He said that it is not yet possible to predict how much revenue the business can bring to Under Armour, which will be decided by consumers over time.
In addition to Under Armour, the company that launched monthly subscription service includes fashion rental website Rent the Runway (monthly 4 times), Kangtai Nash and beauty retailer (Sephora).
Before launching the service, Under Armour opened the first European flagship store in Kalverstraat, Holland's bustling commercial street, Amsterdam, and signed rappers A $AP Rocky as a brand spokesperson, hoping to make the lifestyle products of the company more "cool."
ArmourBox is expected to be launched this week.
