How to determine the weaving difficulty for the width of the finished products on and off the loom?

  01

When the finished warp width is determined, the total number of warp yarns can be determined according to the product of the door width and the finished warp density. The door width of grey cloth is determined according to different organizational structures and different shrinkage rates of finished products. The plain weft shrinkage is small, so the grey cloth door width is correspondingly small. The satin weft shrinkage is large, and the grey cloth door width is correspondingly small. Because the product is a fixed total number of warps, plain grey cloth has a high warp density, while satin has a low weft density. Since the total number of warp yarns is fixed, the amount of warp yarn is the same, but the amount of weft yarn is used more with the expansion of the door width.

  02

After the lower door width of grey cloth is determined, the upper door width of grey cloth can be determined. Generally speaking, the shrinkage of weft yarn is different for different looms, and there are many influencing factors. The weft shrinkage of fabrics of the same specification on different looms is different due to the different settings of opening size, tension and other parameters.

  03

The weave has an impact on the width. The weaving shrinkage is the most important factor between the upper and grey fabric widths. The dyeing shrinkage (including post finishing and pre shrinking) is the most important factor between the grey fabric widths and the finished fabric widths. The influence of the weave on the door widths depends on whether the structure is tight.

  04

In the three primary weaves, for example, it is difficult to weave 100% cotton 40 * 32/150 * 78 * 63 ″ (1/1). If it is satin, it is less difficult to weave. If it is 2/1 twill, it is more difficult to weave.

Arrangement of difficulty coefficient: 1/1>2/1>2/2>3/1>5/3 satin

In reed calculation, the total number of warps and the number of reeds to be fed into one reed should be taken into consideration. If the selection is not correct, it will lead to unclear shedding and yarn breakage.

  05

The same specifications and different numbers of reeds (two reeds and three reeds, especially plain weave style, are different).
