In the first half of July, the general trade pattern of the province was 1 trillion and 267 billion 610 million yuan, an increase of 6.3%, accounting for 51.5% of the total import and export value of Jiangsu in the same period, representing a 1.9 percentage point increase over the same period last year. In the same period, processing trade and bonded logistics respectively imported and exported 913 billion 280 million yuan and 247 billion 410 million yuan, down 1.1% and 3.2% respectively.

On the market side, imports and exports to the European Union, ASEAN and Japan were 420 billion 420 million yuan, 322 billion 560 million yuan, 228 billion 880 million yuan, an increase of 9.2%, 13.9% and 4.3% respectively, and the import and export of the United States and Korea respectively 359 billion 870 million yuan and 279 billion 280 million yuan, respectively, by 5.2% and 0.4% respectively. Over the same period, Jiangsu's total imports and exports totaled 11.8% yuan for the countries along the belt and road, an increase of 11.8% points, which is 9.4 percentage points higher than the overall growth rate of the whole province, accounting for 24.4% of the total foreign trade.

In terms of products, exports of electromechanical products, high-tech products and labor-intensive products have maintained growth. In 1-7 months, the export of mechanical and electrical products in Jiangsu province was 1 trillion and 12 billion 730 million yuan, an increase of 7%, accounting for 65.5% of the total value of Jiangsu's total exports. Among them, integrated circuits, portable computers, mobile phones and solar cells exported 95 billion 70 million yuan, 82 billion 140 million yuan, 37 billion 40 million yuan and 27 billion 220 million yuan, respectively, increasing by 14.6%, 3.6%, 16.7% and 61.4% respectively. The export of high-tech products was 554 billion 830 million yuan, an increase of 4.1%. Among them, the export of electronic technology products was 160 billion 270 million yuan, an increase of 19.3%. Over the same period, labor-intensive products exported 257 billion 270 million yuan, an increase of 9.2%. Among them, exports of textiles and clothing and plastic products were 188 billion 340 million yuan and 27 billion 460 million yuan, respectively, increasing by 5.7% and 22% respectively.
