The "One Belt And One Road" Conference Of China'S Textile Industry Will Build A Global Textile Destiny Community.

On the 17 day, 2019 China textile industry "one belt and one road" conference was held in Shengze, Jiangsu. This conference takes the theme of "building a global textile destiny community" as the theme, and carries out industrial dialogue through the three major sectors, namely, the bright future, the melting chain and the selected domain.

China's textile industry is actively integrating itself into the global industrial chain.

This year is the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China, and it is also the sixth year of general secretary Xi Jinping's "one belt and one road" initiative. Over the past six years, the joint development of the "one belt and one road" initiative from a Chinese country has developed into a multi-national consensus. Significant progress has been made in infrastructure and interconnection, and trade and investment along the way are constantly warming up. As a basic livelihood industry, the textile and garment industry has been carrying out high-level cooperation along the "one belt and one road". It has become an important demand of many countries. China's textile industry is actively integrating itself into the global industrial chain.

Xu Yingxin, vice chairman of the China Textile Industry Federation, chairman of the textile industry branch of the China Council for the promotion of international trade and executive director of the China textile international capacity cooperation enterprise alliance, said that the foreign investment stock of China's textile industry exceeded 10 billion US dollars, and overseas investment was distributed in more than 100 countries and regions, covering Southeast Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, Australia and other key regions. "China's textile industry has injected new energy into the industry's supply chain, industrial chain and value chain in the deep integration along the" one belt and one road ".

Cao Xuejun, deputy director of the consumer goods industry department of the Ministry of industry and information technology, told China economic net reporter that in recent years, Bangladesh, Vietnam and other countries have made rapid progress in garment manufacturing, and most of the fabrics used are provided by China.

Data show that in 2018, China's textile and clothing exports exceeded US $280 billion. "The continuous growth of China's textile exports is also a concrete manifestation of complementarity of industrial cooperation". Cao Xuejun said, "for China's textile industry, we must further enhance the level of scientific and technological innovation of China's chemical fiber fabrics, and support and support the development of textile and garment industries in developing countries along the line."

Take Dongfang International Group as an example, the group is jointly reorganized by 150 year old former Shanghai Textile Group and former Oriental International Group, which has 70 years experience in textile trade export. In recent years, the Oriental International Group has initially formed the international layout of African resources, European and American intelligence, Asian manufacturing, China integration and global sales through the integration of the textile industry's full value chain, total factor and full advantage. At present, there are 96 overseas business organizations, covering 29 countries and regions in five continents, and foreign employees account for more than 60% of the total group employees. After years of development, the group started from agriculture, to the cotton trading center, to the integration of global low-cost production resources, and finally to the integration of high-quality resources, forming a strategic plan for the fashion industry from the field to the wardrobe.

"In the new era of the reconstruction of the world economic order, the" one belt and one way "initiative and many overseas Chinese enterprises have provided the people of the world with the fast track of China's development. Xu Yingxin said proudly.

New technology hits China's textile industry towards high quality development

In the past 70 years since the founding of new China, especially the magnificent 40 years of reform, China's textile industry, as the leader of the opening up to the outside world, has achieved all-round and pioneering development from weak to strong. Profound and fundamental changes have taken place and made a multidimensional and historic contribution. China has become a well deserved world textile power.

Gao Yong, secretary and Secretary General of the China Textile Industry Federation, said that China's textile industry is the most market-oriented industry in China's manufacturing industry, with more than 300 prosperous industrial clusters and specialized markets. "At present, China is the largest consumer goods market in the world, especially the clothing and home textiles market. 40 years ago, China's fiber consumption per capita was less than 3 kilograms. By last year, it had exceeded 22 kilograms, which was close to the per capita consumption in Europe and far exceeded the global per capita consumption.

At the same time, we should also see that "in recent years, with the rapid development of China's economy, the traditional advantages of manufacturing in China, including the textile industry, have declined, forcing China's economy to transform from a low level to a high end, from a large scale to a quality oriented one." Cao Xuejun said, "China's textile industry is speeding up the adjustment of industrial structure. In the global industrial division system, from processing and manufacturing to active R & D design, supply chain optimization, brand and market development. International cooperation extends from simple product output to technology, equipment and capital export, making full use of global textile advantage resources, and enhancing all-round cooperation with technology, brand, design and production capacity of various countries.

In addition, with the rapid development of new technologies represented by the industrial Internet, big data, artificial intelligence and 5G, the deep integration with the traditional textile industry is changing the production organization and business mode of the textile industry, greatly improving production efficiency and reflecting capability of the supply chain.

It can be seen that China's textile and garment industry, as one of China's most competitive industries, has become a pilot and exemplary industry in the "one belt and one way" initiative. At the same time, it must promote the sustainable development and high quality development of China's textile industry in accordance with high standards, people's livelihood and sustainable goals.
