In November 6th, the national development and Reform Commission website announced the twenty-ninth order of 2019. The guidance catalogue of industrial structure adjustment (2019 Edition) (hereinafter referred to as the "Catalogue") has been implemented since January 1, 2020. The guidance catalogue of the 2019 edition is divided into three categories: encouragement, restriction and elimination. Related to cotton spinning, the catalogue of encouraged category involves intelligent spinning, energy saving and environmental protection technology. The backward production process and equipment catalogue of restricted catalogues involves 5 types of spinning machines and looms, including PVA sizing process. The elimination catalogue includes 4 types of textile machines and looms. There are no cotton textile related products in the backward catalogue.
