According to this standard, antibacterial mask is a mask with antibacterial function. The internal quality and protective effect of the antibacterial mask should first conform to the corresponding national laws and regulations and standards of the category of the mask, and secondly, its safety, hygiene requirements and antibacterial properties must meet the requirements of this standard.

According to this standard, the antibacterial mask should be carried out with antibacterial substance dissolution test, multiple skin irritation test, skin allergy test or delayed type hypersensitivity test, acute oral toxicity test, and the safety and hygiene requirements meet the requirements of Table 1.

Safety hygiene requirements

Note: the bacteriostatic ring width (D) of Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae or Escherichia coli should be tested separately in the dissolution test of antibacterial substances. If the product claims to have antifungal function, it is necessary to increase the Candida albicans test.

The standard also considers that the antibacterial part should not be placed on the cheek layer. If the design must be placed on the interfacing layer, the cytotoxic test and acute inhalation toxicity test should also be added on the basis of satisfying the above safety requirements. The cytotoxicity is not greater than 1, and the acute inhalation toxicity is actually non-toxic. In addition, the bacteriostatic ring width (D) is less than 1mm.

According to this standard, the antibacterial rate of the antibacterial mask should be more than 90%, and the antibacterial stability should be maintained for at least one year at room temperature.
