On August 19, at the site of Youxi Xinsen intelligent and green differential nylon fiber production project with an annual output of 120000 tons, located in Chengnan Park of Youxi Economic Development Zone, workers were stepping up their indoor decoration.

"The project is progressing chronologically, and equipment installation is expected to be carried out in October." Zheng Bingzeng, secretary of Xinsen Science and Technology Party Branch, introduced that the project is a provincial key project, with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan, to build an annual output of 120000 tons of energy-saving and emission reduction, efficient and intelligent nylon production line.

Xinsen Technology is a national high-tech key enterprise integrating nylon R&D, production and sales. The high-tech nylon products independently developed by the enterprise, such as graphene nylon fiber, mildew resistant and antibacterial nylon fiber, thermal insulation nylon fiber, provide high-quality raw materials for downstream industries. From January to July this year, the output value of Xinsen Science and Technology reached 1.293 billion yuan.

The textile industry is the largest pillar industry in Youxi County. In 2022, 105 textile enterprises in the county will achieve an output value of 29.15 billion yuan, including 69 textile enterprises above designated size, with an accumulated output value of 24.23 billion yuan.

The development of the textile industry in Youxi is a vivid example of our city accelerating the transformation and upgrading of the textile industry. At present, our city has formed a relatively complete textile industry chain, including chemical fiber, spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing, and industrial textiles.

The Fourth Plenary Session of the 11th Provincial Party Committee proposed to adhere to the industrial upgrading and optimization of structure, develop and expand industrial clusters, and cultivate and expand private enterprises in echelon. In order to promote the extension of the high-end textile industry chain, supplement the chain and strengthen the chain, our city focuses on increasing varieties, improving quality and creating brands, focusing on the digital, high-end and green development of the industry, strengthening the cultivation of the industry chain, further expanding and strengthening the fiber manufacturing link, promoting the transformation and upgrading of the key links of weaving, dyeing and finishing, expanding the supply of terminal textiles, and promoting the coordinated and differential development of the industry. Strive to achieve an output value of more than 33 billion yuan by 2025 and 45 billion yuan by 2035, and build a national advanced textile manufacturing base.

Focusing on innovation, coordination and green development, our city has accelerated the elimination of backward production capacity, encouraged technological transformation of enterprises, provided policy support such as technological transformation awards and subsidies, and loan interest subsidies for key eligible technological transformation projects, worked hard to achieve digital transformation, cultivated and expanded the upstream and downstream dragon skull stem enterprises in the industrial chain, and provided strong support for the high-quality development of the textile and clothing industry.
